Join us for lobby day in albany on tuesday, June 17th!
As of June 12, 2014, the Trafficking Victims Protection and Justice Act has been passed by the New York State Senate, but it has yet to be passed by the New York State Assembly.
Because there is only one week left in our legislative session, we are headed to Albany on Tuesday, June 17 for our last lobbying effort this session.
Join us by signing up here or emailing hhata@sffny.org. Free bus transportation will be provided to those who attend, and more details will be provided via email to those who sign up.
Can't make it to Albany with us on Tuesday? Call Speaker Sheldon Silver and your local Assembly Member today, and ask them to support the TVPJA (which is listed as A.2240D).
Speaker Silver can be reached at (212) 312 1420 or 518 455 3971, and the name and phone number of your local Assembly Member can be found by entering your address here.
